Quick tip to reduce teacher stress!

One of the biggest things about teacher stress is the tired feeling a teacher gets. A new teacher just does not realize how tiring the job is. Mind work can be very stressful. To give you less stress, try and grade less! That's right, grade less. Grading is a time taking effort. It can kill you. So, try this: Make one day a week a non-turn-in day. That is, collect no work from students. You take attendance, so you have a record of who is there. Do some group work and grade the effort. Grading this way takes very little time. One more, NEVER give an exam or collect a HUGE assignment on Friday. You will waste your weekend and a weekend is what a teacher needs to recharge. Avoid grading over the weekends!
