Free grants for teachers and classrooms

Weareteachers.com gives out between 5 and 10 $200 grants to teachers who submit their projects for using the grant. The winning teachers also get a video camera to show their project being implemented.

First, you must join weareteachers.com the submit a project. Then you get as many people to vote for you one the website. You will be given instructions when submitting. You want your classroom project to appeal to as many people as possible. Those who visit the website can find your project and vote for you. You can also send people to the website to vote. The more votes you get, the higher your project becomes. The top vote getters will be awarded the money. So far, over 100 of these micro grants have been awarded.

Weareteachers.com also has many resources for teachers and classrooms.

Fundforteachers.com is another program that awards grants to schools.
